Our gardening club is run by Mr Blyth and Mrs Shaw on Mondays after school between 3:00 and 4:15pm.
Spaces are currently available for any children in Years 2 to 6.
We meet whatever the weather as there is always something to do in the garden.
This year we have grown and harvested potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb, tomatoes, runner beans, and carrots.
We have supplied the cooking club with apples, rhubarb, raspberries and potatoes this year as well as eggs from our hens.
We have also planted trees from the Woodland Trust around the edge of the allotment. These include hazel, hawthorn, dog rose and holly.
We are getting ready to start planting seeds and bulbs after half term.
We still have lots to do so if you enjoy gardening or would like to learn more please see Mr Blyth for a letter.
