Foundation 2 - Sharman and Attenborough Class

Autumn 1 - 2021

In Attenborough Class, the teacher is Mrs Bamford.

In Sharman Class, the teacher is Miss Anderson.

Our Teaching Assistants are Miss De Vergori (Miss De to the children), Mrs Harper and Mrs Udueni.

It has been so wonderful to welcome all of the children into F2. We are really proud of how well the children have settled in and embraced their learning.

This half term, we will be spending lots of time getting to know each other in our topis: 'I wonder about me and the people around me'.  Our Book's of the Week will be The Colour Monster and What Makes Me a Me.

A couple of reminders:

Our PE day is Mondays for Attenborough Class and Tuesdays for Sharman Class. Children do not need a PE kit for the first term. We will begin changing for PE sessions in the Spring term.

Please could all uniform, coats, lunchboxes and water bottles be very clearly labelled with your child's name? This will allow us to return lost items back to children very quickly.

All EYFS children are entitled to a free school lunch. Each morning they will be asked to choose from two options. If your child has any allergies or dietary requirements, please inform the office. Children can bring a packed lunch should you prefer.

We will be updating our class pages regularly on Class Dojo! Please check in to see what we are up to. If you need to connect to Dojo, please let us know and we can support you with this.

Thank you for all of your continued support,

The F2 Team.

Our first Book of the Week is 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenas

We will spend two weeks exploring the story and talking about our own feelings.

There is a link to a reading of the story above - please share the story with your children and talk about the learning we have completed at school.
