It was great to welcome visitors for The University of Nottingham into school to work with children in their geography and science learning. This really brought their learning to life and enhanced the work they had been doing learning about rocks in Year 3 and living things in Year 2 and Year 4. 

The children did themselves proud and really showed off how much they have learned, and remembered, from their work over the last term. Our visiting geologist was particularly impressed with Year 3 who he said had deeper knowledge and understanding than many of the undergraduates he teaches on the degree course at the university. Well done Year 3!
