Welcome

My name is Mrs O'Connell and I am proud to be the Headteacher at Djanogly Strelley Academy.  

On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors I would like to welcome you and your family to our school and our website. 

The website is organised in different areas.  Policies and all statutory information can be located in the 'Key Information' area.  There is lots of information for families in our 'parent' area including contacts of the key people in school who you might want to talk to.  Within the 'curriculum' area there is lots of information about our exciting provision in school and out of school.  

Our vision is for everyone in our community: children, staff, governors and parents to

be the best they can be.

We have a very dedicated and inspiring team who want to make your child's journey through school an exciting and fun learning experience. We are a happy and inclusive school with many strengths and high expectations for all. We aim to work in partnership with our parents, to inspire the children to believe in themselves and achieve high standards. We know that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent / carer makes.  We are very keen to forge strong links with families and welcome your involvement in your child's learning.
