Jewellery should not be worn in school as it is not part of the uniform policy. Where earrings are worn, these should be studs only. Pupils are not permitted to wear any items of jewellery (including earing studs) when they go swimming.
Make-up and false nails are NOT allowed to be worn at school.
Swimming Kit
Children must wear correct swim wear; for girls this means a one piece costume (no bikinis) and for boys close fitted swimming trunks with no pockets. Baggy shorts are not allowed. Children are not permitted to swim if they do not have the appropriate swimwear – this is strictly enforced by Harvey Hadden staff.
Children must not wear any jewellery and adults are not permitted to remove jewellery from children’s ears. We are unfortunately also not able to cover piercings with a plaster so any earrings must be removed before swimming.
