Autumn Term

History - Childhood 

This term, we are learning all about childhood. We are learning about the early stages of life, family trees, and childhood through the ages. Throughout the topic, we will be comparing childhood from the past with childhood in the present day. This includes investigating artefacts through the ages and comparing them to the present day equivalent. 

Science - Animals Including Humans (All About Me)

In Science this half term, we are learning about about the human body. We are identifying body parts and their functions. We are also looking at the 5 senses and the organs associated with them. We are having great fun using our senses to taste different flavours, feel different textures, identify different sounds and smell different smells. 

Art - Romero Britto Pop Art

In Art we have been exploring work by the pop artist Romero Britto. We have been putting into practise our knowledge of colour theory by mixing primary colours together to make secondary colours. We have also been developing our painting techniques to produce a final piece in the style of Romero Britto.
