Animals Including Humans
We’ve made a working model of our digestive system. We used scissors to act as the teeth to break down and make the food smaller. The pop sock was the small intestine, where we squeezed out the nutrients, before it passed to the large intestine (black sock) where we squeezed out the last of the water before excreting it out of the anus as waste poo!
Here we are investigating the effects of different liquids on our teeth. We used, liquids such as cola, orange juice, energy drinks and vinegar. We observed the effects of these liquids over time, on our eggs. We used eggs because the shell is made from the same material, enamel, as our teeth.
