In Science, we have been learning about animals, including humans. We have enjoyed lessons on the human digestive system, conducted an experiment to see the effects of different liquids on our teeth and engaged with a Fab Science workshop.

In Geography, we have been learning about the Amazon rainforest located in Brazil which stretches into some surrounding countries. The children have learned about the uses of the rainforest and the dangers that animals and plants face there. They have been able to link their knowledge back to rivers and the water cycle.

In DT (Design and Technology), we have been making and evaluating bird feeders using pulley systems. The children have used empty milk bottles, string, bobbins, dowels and corrugated cardboard to create these. Take a look in the photos below!
