Marking and Feedback
At Djanogly Strelley Academy, we believe that high-quality feedback is key to helping every child succeed. Our approach ensures that pupils understand what they have done well, what they need to improve, and how to take the next steps in their learning.
Teachers provide feedback in a range of ways, including live verbal feedback during lessons and more detailed written feedback, particularly in Maths and English. Pupils are actively involved in this process, responding to feedback and making improvements so they take ownership of their learning.
We maintain high expectations for presentation, spelling, handwriting and basic skills across all subjects, helping children develop pride in their work. Ultimately, our feedback system supports confidence, independence and achievement for every child.
